About Boon Capital
Woven with Purpose, Built on Care
We exist to give people the financial knowledge they deserve — clearly, without pressure, and always at a pace that respects where they are in life.
Back to HomeOur Story
Boon Capital was established in Bangkok by a small group of financial educators who noticed something: most money courses were aimed at younger professionals, written in a hurry, and filled with jargon that left older learners feeling that the subject was not for them. That felt wrong.
In Thai, boon carries the sense of something accumulated slowly through good acts — merit built up patiently over time. That word felt exactly right for what we wanted to do. We wanted to help people in midlife build a clearer picture of their finances thread by thread, without any sense of shame or urgency.
Since we opened our doors in Chatuchak, we have worked with hundreds of adults who came in feeling uncertain and left with a far steadier understanding of their money. That is the only measure of success we care about.
Our Mission
To make sound financial understanding accessible to every midlife adult in Thailand — not through urgency or persuasion, but through patient teaching, plain language, and genuine respect for the learner.
Respect Above All
Every participant is treated as a capable adult who simply has not had the right opportunity to learn about money — not as someone who needs to be fixed.
Honesty About Limits
We are educators, not advisers. We are clear about that distinction and always refer participants to licensed professionals when personal decisions are involved.
Patience as a Practice
We do not rush. The pace of our courses is set by the learners, not by a schedule that prioritises throughput over understanding.
The People Behind the Courses
A small, dedicated group who share a belief that financial clarity is something everyone deserves access to.
Khun Pimchanok
Lead Educator
With over fifteen years in Thai banking and a long interest in adult education, Pimchanok leads our courses with calm authority and genuine warmth.
Somchai Teerapat
Financial Content Adviser
Somchai spent two decades at a Bangkok savings institution before turning his attention to helping ordinary people understand the products on offer to them.
Nattaya Wongkham
Participant Support
Nattaya handles the daily wellbeing of every group, making sure that participants feel heard and supported throughout their learning journey.
How We Hold Ourselves to Account
These are not aspirations. They are the standards we apply every day, in every session, with every participant.
Adult Learning Methodology
Our course structure follows established principles for how adults learn — building on existing knowledge, connecting concepts to real life, and allowing time for reflection.
Privacy and Discretion
Participants share personal financial details in a safe environment. All group discussions are confidential, and individual data is handled in accordance with Thai data protection standards.
Content Accuracy Review
All course materials are reviewed regularly for accuracy. When Thai banking rules or savings products change, we update our content before the next intake begins.
Clear Educator Boundaries
Our educators do not sell financial products or earn commission of any kind. The relationship remains purely educational, which protects participants from any conflict of interest.
Participant Feedback Loop
Every cohort completes a structured review at the end of their programme. The results are used directly to improve future courses — not set aside.
Referral Transparency
When participants need professional financial advice, we provide a list of licensed advisers with no financial relationship to Boon Capital, so the choice remains entirely with the participant.
Financial Education in Bangkok for Adults Over 40
Boon Capital sits at the intersection of two things that are often kept apart: the depth of knowledge that comes from years of working inside Thailand's financial sector, and the kind of teaching skill that helps adults encounter unfamiliar material without feeling overwhelmed. Our educators have spent time at both sides of that table — as financial practitioners and as learners themselves.
The courses we offer cover the terrain that most often matters to people in their forties, fifties, and beyond: understanding everyday banking, building a saving habit that works with Thai deposit options, planning for healthcare costs, and thinking carefully about retirement without needing to become an expert in investment products. We focus on what is genuinely useful, and we leave the rest to people who are properly qualified to advise on it.
Our location in Chatuchak, Bangkok, makes us accessible from much of the city. Participants travel from Lat Phrao, Bang Khen, Lad Krabang, and further afield. If you are curious about what a session looks like in practice, we welcome a short introductory conversation before any commitment is made.
